Hey followers!

I got back from America like 10 days ago, there’s no excuse for abandoning Tumblr for a summer and then forgetting to blog when I get back, right? So, I’m sorry Tumblr, please take my heart as an apology:

I’ve literally had the most amazing summer of my life. It was my third time back at Channel 3 Kids Camp and it really was a charm; I met the most amazing people. Such enthusiasm and so much talent, I felt like I was swimming in a pool of happiness the entire time. It was just so much fun.
That’s not to say it wasn’t difficult. During the second week I remember breaking down in tears in front of the kiln when I realised this kiln obviously wasn’t working: all the kids’ clay pots had exploded where it had over heated. But they willingly had another go at the air-dry clay and took the failed attempt as practice. I think that was about as bad as it got. Looking back over one summer is like looking over my entire life; there’s so much to remember.

I’ve got absolutely nothing going on at home right now, I just graduated from university and didn’t plan for post-camp life. But I think that’ll change fast; I’m working on my illustration portfolio, I’ll probably post a lot of that here. I need to find a job. I guess I’ll enjoy the down time while it lasts.
